    I liked the droplet pattern as this female anhinga, returning to her perch after diner, shakes water from her head. NR in CS5 to background. Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

    Bill;

    The water pattern adds a lot here! The circle, and drips off the tail.

    I also like the way the near foot has molded itself to the lumpy perch.

    Colors work well.

    Normally I would say the perch is too dominant, but the water spray helps balance the image visually, so it works for me.

    Cheers

    Randy

    Beautiful color balance and action captured. Love the water effects and the perch , while large, works very well in this image. It adds base and balance and works with the overall color scheme.:D

    The overall consistent color scheme is very nice. The circle of spray is killer. Keeping with the geometry, the horizontal part of the stump, the bird's body, and the line from the beak make a pleasing triangle. One of those subtle aspects of composition that keep the viewer's attention centered.

    Amazing action captured of the water droplets, conveys wonderful motion in the image. Love the colours and compositional aspects mentioned above.
