This has had a fair amount of clone work done to the BG - this bird has a created tail feather tip on the left side.

Perky pose, well scaled perch, nice catchlight,unobtrusive cloning.

Just enough DOF to keep the tail from being distractingly blurry.

Wonderful pose and background. A bit dark for my taste. I think the DOF is just a little too shallow - the tail doesn't bother me but the right leg could be sharper.

Beautiful subject set off by a fine BG. Might lighten up the eye just a bit. Seems a touch too dark. Still a fine image as is.
