    from the anhinga trail sunday am with mr cobos. i'm glad to know that i was not the only one being bothered by the deerflies. :p

    nikon d300, sigma 50-500 at 500mm, f/8, 1/200s, 0EV, ISO 500, flash fill, bb, -3.7EV

    I got you beat buddy; I had two flies on my neck instead of one!!!:eek: You should of taken a picture of me trying to squash them, you missed the action buddy..:p

    Nice touch with the deer fly Harold. Good looking backlite image. I don't see any blowouts and the composition is well done. I might have included a bit more of the neck to get the s-curve affect, but the close-up you did works well too. BG is even and a tone very complimentary to the anhinga's colors. Well done.

    I like the crop as presented Very nice feel and a good looking bird

    The fly is a nice touch but probably not appreciated by the bird !!!! Good head angle and exposure Got the processing well and all lead to an excellent capture !!!
