What would a tribute to Dave be without a Greenie.... Every time I see a Green Heron Dave pops in my mind for a while. We used to have some great conversations on another photo forum and I always enjoyed his views on photography and processing.

Jim, This is a fitting tribute for sure. He did love Greenies. I love the pose and the open beak. It's a tiny bit tight on the right. Nice processingDave was so good with processing and he really had a great eye.
Beautiful pose and action on one of Dave's favorite things.Very nicely done. I agree that it's a bit tight on the right.
Other than being a bit tight on the right, this is very well done. That pose is great!
Thanks y'all! I missed meeting Dave at Brazos Bend SP when he and Billy Moore made a trip over here and didn't tell me they were coming.... I'm still upset about that...:D I finally met Billy a while back...what character he is!:wh I can see why they were such great friends.
Jim, Billy was so kind and helpful to me during Dave's last days. He kept us all informed. I will always appreciate it.![]()
Jim, I know Dave would love this! He loved those greenies and especially the looooong stretches.
Jim, I love the pose and I know Dave would have loved it too![]()
