I am not normally one to take pictures through airplane windows, but this plane had nice big windows and at this time little reflection. Taken as we were coming in to land at the Savute Airstrip on 2nd January 2011. Green and wet are the words!

Hi Ken, nice job making a composition out of the overhead view. I suggest 2 things. First I would crop the image a little above where the river leaves the rt side of the frame and take about 40% off the left before the river. Finally I might play with the contrast a bit to add some dimension...

Hi Ken, nice scene. I agree with Dave's comments as the winding river is seems to get lost with extra space around it. Well done!

Thanks for the suggestions, have just tried them out and they seem to work better.

Wow, what a view Ken. The vast delta with the curving river looks amazing. The repost improves the image a lot.

    Hey Ken,
Scary....but I had the same thoughts as Dave comp wise and contrast. You r repost definitely made a big improvement and really shows the channel and surrounding very nicely!

Sorry, although I think a lot of the photos you have posted here were really great, this is just a boring air photo with nothing much of interest.
Sorry to be harsh, I just don't see much there, could be a google earth photo to me.

Nice job, like the re-post,. May want to try Robert's local contrast enhancement on this one, I think it would really make it pop.
