This is a tough bird to get in the South and one I have been after for a while so decided to post on here. Any comments appreciated.

Hi Allen. I think you did a nice job of exposing this bird. I love the rusty color and bold streaks on the breast. The HA police might have a slight issue with the head turn, but its OK for me. I would be happy to have this image in my archives. These birds summer north of both our states, so its a good catch. I got one last fall at dusk, and only because I had my flash and Better Beamer.

Hi Allen, well done with great light and fantastic detail. Just love the colouration and feather detail you have captured here. The background also blends nicely with the colours of the bird.

A good species for sure, and one that is tough here too - and even for us we only get it passing through during migration. Good comp and colours, I love the foot on the log. As part of the HA dept. I will issue a warning about it here. Just a slight turn towards us would have made a huge difference. I'd still be happy to get such a clean image of this guy though.

Lovely image, with great detail and bg. HA looks fine to my eye - bill parallel to focal plane - although I suppose a degree or two toward you wouldn't hurt the image. I'm still waiting to add a Fox to my sparrow collection. Well done.
