Another kitty painting inspired by Dave's work. This is Shadow, one of our three inside cats. She really is a shadow, follows me around all the time.

I used Benson with Tarbell_Courier and then masked back in a little of the original in the center area. I also lightened the edges just a tad.

    Beautiful sleeping pose. Nicely done.

I love when they sleep though ours usually doesn't get much when I'm home as when I see her sleeping I can't resist snuggling my face into her fur.

Christopher, anything kitty related is good in my book so of course I like this one!

The only thing I'm not sure about is the light area on the bottom. I'll be very curious to hear what others think.

Christopher, Soft and dreamy just like the pose. When I first opened the image I thought the same thing that Ken did but after viewing it for awhile I think the light strip at the bottom is nice and it looks like he is resting on a soft pillow of snow.

I also think the light edge at the bottom works because it is what it is - a soft, fuzzy binkie. I think this is beautiful and expressive and I'm not even a cat person.

I looked at this again and I think the problem I was having with the light area at the bottom is that it's blending in with BPN's light BG. I downloaded it, added a black border and now I agree that the light area looks right.

Christopher, late too, but I love it. The softness and the pose are nice and peaceful
