    Default DAP Spoonie

One of my favorite images of Dave's was a spoonie landing on the water. I didn't have one of those but this was the closest one I could find. I used Benson Impression 1, then used Luminosity blend mode, dup screen layer, then usm to bring back a little detail.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated. (I'm so glad the old smiley faces are back - I think the other ones look creepy.)

Cheryl, I like the DAP treatment you picked for this. The blue and pink look very nice together and I don't have too many Spoonies landing on perches in my files. Nice sharp eye.

Beautiful work, Cheryl, and a fine tribute. I like the perspective looking up at the bird. The colors and DAP treament look lovely. Well done.

    Cheryl,

This is beautifully done. I also like the perspective as well as the overall painting effect.

This is beautiful, Cheryl! What strikes me most about it is just how well those shades of blue and pink go together.
