    Default DAP - Cherie

This is Cherie captured in one of her favorite positions -- upside down looking at the world. :)

    Equipment Used:

    Olympus E-1
    Digital Zuiko 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 @54mm
    1/13 sec @ f7.1
    ISO 100
    flash bounced off of ceiling
    hand held

    Post Processing:

DAP Sargent Theme used. The final is a blend of the original, a finished Sargent and one that was stopped after the simplify procedure.

Richard, Your kitty images really remind me of Dave. I love this! The unique perspective and the painted effect. Is that you I see reflected in the eye?

Cats are just so much fun, aren't they? Very lovely work. The painted effect is just right.

Thanks Cheryl, Denise and Chris for all your kind words. I didn't know Dave personally though I do remember seeing some of his posts back when I first joined BPN. I hope that Dave is enjoying everyone's effort and thoughts, wherever he may be.

    Denise: yes that's me. :)

Chris: they are fun though I must admit they're challenge to keep from the birds. Cherie is almost entirely a house cat though we do allow her on the deck in the summer time. And even with that limited exposure I had to pry more than one hurt critter from her jaws.

Yeah, I wish our cats stayed away from the birds too and just went after mice and such, but I love them anyway. We have three inside cats and seven outside cats.

The pose is fantastic and you did a good job with the light painting look!

I'm loving all these cats images! When is cat week?
