    Trying to stay warm here in the NE. Going through old files and found this from 3 yrs ago at the St. Augustine A. Farm. Cropped a bit for composition.

    400ISO f5.6 at 1/500th

    This is quite nice, with subtle clouds behind the bird giving a little bit extra separation which really helps.

    I might consider a slight crop down from the top, and if you have any, a bit more room on the left.

    Wish I could see the legs more clearly, but it works well.

    Hi Joe,
    I like the blue-gray tones, lighting, and level of detail in your image. Although I agree with Randy's comments re crop, overall I really like this image. It has very nice feel to it.

    I agree about the crop suggestion but I like the eye contact and the detail in the feathers. Love the hint of clouds in the bg...kind of breaks things up so to speak.
