It was time for the antelope rut as well as the elk. Fall in YNP, this buck busy running this doe around.

A nice record of the species Todd and I like the fact that male and female are in the image.

A good catchlight in the doe as well.

    Cheers

    Hey Todd,
I like the action and seeing the pair.....but wondering about the contrast ....I'm wondering if pulling down the brightness a few points and upping the contrast will make this pop a bit more w/o blowing out the whites. A LCE may also do the trick.

    Hi Todd,
I really like the pose and angle of the buck. Almost like he's herding the doe towards the viewer. Also like the habitat, great representation for that part of the world. Color looks a little off to me but I'm not really sure in which direction. I played around a bit with the red and yellow channels and added a sepia tone and came up with this. Let me know what you think, will delete upon request.

Steve, Thanks for the re-post, looks good. This image was processed on my old system and I just took it from my external drive without checking it , will pay more attention. Anytime you feel it to be helpful to re-post on my images have at it, great to have other eyes to keep me in check.
