Bushtits travel in small fast-moving flocks in winter and are difficult to capture standing still. I was happy to get this female about to leap off of a perch of coyote bush.

    Not a set-up.

Very well done Aidan. Exposure is right on, and I like the sharpness and pre-launch pose.

    Cheers!

Nice pose Adian. Love the sharpness and yes they don't sit still for anything. Well done.

Very nicely done and good for you to be able to capture this active bird. Very sharp and great eye contact.

Terrific sharpness Aidan. loved the comp. too. The steep angle is working well as the bird is looking down.
