Nice timing on the snarl (or is it a yawn?). Impressive teeth and I like the shadows of them on the tongue. I also like the subtle difference in the FG grasses. The darker bunch on the left gives it a sense of her moving out of cover into the open.

the perspective with her hidden behind the bushes combined with the focal length gives you a real impression of being close to him, the angle of view also makes it appear like you are hiding from his snarl (which is actually the flehmen response ;))

good light too Vivaldo, maybe a touch oversharpened on the fur?

Very cool with the snarl. I think Morkel may be right on the sharpening.

Another beautiful image Vivaldo. Exposure and comp look good. Agree sharpening right on the edge. Well done.

I like the action of course but also the light into the eyes.

The eyes are alive which together with the other positives make this a lovely image.

If you are going to get it printed I would remove the dark dot in the sky (to the right of its left ear as we look at the image).

    Cheers

Very valid points raise above here Vivaldo, just curious why such high ISO based on the SS?

    Vivaldo,

Very nice but perhaps a little too much contrast?

    The composition is great

    Hey Vivaldo,
Love the composition but agree with the above recommendations to tweak the image. Very nicely done.

Thanks very much for comments and suggestions. I do agree, i am very heavy handed when it comes to sharperning:) Steve this was a snarl.
Steve the ISO was a mistake but I wanted the SS higher then normal as this lion was on the move. I was hoping to see some action but it didn't happen.
