Altered sunset over the Gulf

It wasn't much of a sunset so I had some fun with the conversion and abstacting it.

Very creative, Bill! I love the graininess that you have here and the way the light leads to the setting sun. If this were mine I think I'd take a bit about half off the top to bring the horizon higher up in the image.

Bill, I like how it is slightly off-centered. The grain adds a lot to this in my opinion. The B&W conversion was a good idea. Jules makes a good suggestion w/ a crop off the top but I do like the unusual comp as is to add to the abstract look.

Thank you folks, you all saw what I saw during the conversion. As to the crop, I toyed with it and tried it out before posting. I couldn't make up my mind so I posted it as you see. Hmmm, maybe I should have cropped. But it was fun working over the rather bland sunset.
