    Default OOTB Critter

Our beloved cat, Cherie. I think this is an image Dave might like.

    Equipment Used:

    Olympus E-3
Vivitar Series 1 90-180mm close focusing zoom
    Fill flash
    1/25 sec
    ISO 800
    Image stabilization - hand held

    Post Processing:

Fractalius used and blended with the original. Contrast increased, more detail in eyes revealed, sharpening applied.

Richard, You nailed it. It actually brought a tear to my eye as soon as I saw the thumbnail. Beautiful tribute and a lovely image. I wouldn't change a pixel!!

Thanks to everyone and especially Denise for your kind words. I was on the fence about whether to participate in this tribute as I didn't know Dave, unlike all of you. Your comments made me happy I chose to play along. :)
