    Default More Winter Trees

Another fractalius of winter trees at sunset with the fract on separate layer at 50%. Not sure what to think of the pinkish snow.

    Look forward to comments.

    Andrew,

I like the composition and effect and feel it's beautiful as it is. I played around with the Nik filter Viveza and made the foreground white though I'm not sure I prefer it over what you did. Well done.

Andrew, I did a levels adjustment until the snow was very light pink (moved the midtone slider) and then painted back the color with a mask to everything else. Then I went back and "unmasked" the lower part of the tree line by 25% so it wasn't quite as dark as the rest of the trees. I think I like the lighter pink of the snow in this one but I still really like the OP, too. The colors are fantastic!

Andrew, I like the curves and fract look. The smudgy spot in the treeline in the middle bothers me a bit.
    I like either version.

Andrew, I like the series you are working on here. The Fractalius work is nicely done and the colors are off the chart beautiful!

That is pretty awesome and intense colors, can see you are having fun with fractilius. Keep taking it further, just using the right amount of effects.

The pink sky is really nice and I love the fract effect on the trees. If it were mine, I'd be tempted to paint or otherwise color the snow blue, but I like it as posted.

Thanks to all for the comments. I appreciate them very much. I think I'll try to lighten the pink in the snow a touch. I was trying to play around with this prior to posting, but just wasn't getting anything I liked so I left it as is for original post.
