    I captured this Gliding Goose at a local pond in Kempton Park one late afternoon.
    This is not a lovable species in SA as they are quite noisy bunch.

    Hi Chris, good banking angle, against a very colourful BG. The EG is tack sharp and well exposed.

    I can still rember the first time I saw one of these around 12 years and I thought what a beautifully coloured bird, it was only when it took off that I realised its potential for annoyance.

    Beautiful image, I think the vertical black shadows/spaces (LHS) would perhaps look less distracting if they were not quite so dark

    Great capture in awesome light. Love the pose and the BG really makes this bird pop. Sorry to hear about how noisy they are. I have the same problem with Limpkin here on the lake where I live 4 months of the year. It is torture!

    Nicely captured Chris, the late afternoon light looks good with nice sharpness and eye contact.
