Hi Chris

I like the detail in the black, but the white looks a little hot. Would like to see a little more room in the front, only because it would move the bird off center of the frame.

Like this image! These guys can be tough to expose and I think you did a fine job, nice detail too. Maybe a bit more on the left as Bill mentioned.

I love the image, especially the detail on the black feathers..:D For my own taste, I would give it a little more canvas to the left. the subject is a wee bit centered..

Hi Chris the exposure is very good Excellent detail in the dark feathers For the white bill all you can do is shoot in soft light !!!

Might consider a little crop from the top !!!!

The white bill may be hot but there is detail in it. I am guessing that the full-res version shows more detail. Nice balance of the bill with all that detail in the blacks.
