D3s 600VR taken at 1000mm. 1/2000sec at f7.1. +0.3EV ISO 2000. I placed a beanbag on the ground and waited. I used basic adjustments lightroom and in PS cloned out some distractions.

Good low perspective Vivaldo, and I like the light and warm colours. The droplets puts this over the top. Looking at the line of the splash, I feel this needs a slight CW rotation.

Hi Vivaldo , one of the more creative avian images I've seen. Super low angle and great action captured with the splash and droplets. Love the light and eye contact as well as the oof ridge in the background.

Were you in a portable hide or out in the open ?

Thanks Pieter and Stu. I was out in the open, flat on my belly :) The birds would walk or land very close to me without realize that I was lying there.

Wonderful action capture, Vivaldo! I love your pov - just perfect. The splashing water drops really add interest. I agree with the previous comments, and appreciate your repost!

Love the low pov Vivaldo. Great colors and sharpness. Straightening in re-post does the trick. Well done.

Another great one Vivaldo, what a super low angle. Great eye contact, nice light, detail, color, and droplets. Repost makes it perfect.

Strangely a bird that is not often photographed, presumably because they are relatively common. They are nevertheless nice to look at if a "little" noisy.

It could be my office monitor in UK but the blacks do not seem dark enough ?
