Thought I would see if this works for anyone. Never been this close to a sandhill crane before. There were a few of them walking towards me and just kep coming to where I could have touched them, thought I was in Florida for a moment :w. Image made @ Reifel Bird Sanctuary.
Thanks for looking, comments and critiques appreciated.

    Todd:

I think it is a fun composition, certainly a bit different, and works for me.
Sharp and well exposed. In a perfect world I would prefer the rear bird to be slightly more separated from the front, so it doesn't look like his head is growing out the side of the front bird, but it is easy enough to figure out the image after looking at it for a sec or two.

The symmetry of their poses is good.

    Cheers

Hi Todd I like the symmetry and mirror effect of the OOF bird as well as the crossed legs. Nice to see a different perspective and composition which IMHO works well. I might have liked it even more without the grass in the LLC.

Todd, I like it and it's different. I think the one piece of straw that is in line w/ the rear birds bill could be easily evicted and would make the image stronger. Nice sharp front crane. Nicely presented.
