This image of the wave breaking on the shoreline was taken at Blowing Rocks Nature Conservancy, on Jupiter Island. It was modified and flipped to create the abstract.
Modifications included in CS4; Fractalius; Accented Edges; Diffused Glass and Shadow/Highlight, Vibrance/Saturation and Hue/Saturation adjustments.
Other orientations were considered, but this alignment of the horizon, as shot, was preferred.
Nice one, Mark! I kind of wish the outer edges on the sides were present but I also like it as presented. It has so much impact and really packs a punch!
