    Thanks Morkel. When I saw the color version I started visualizing how it would look in B&W. Your version is beyond my visualization. Excellent job.

    The B/W conversion works well Morkel although a little too contrasty for me, but might add a bit more USM to the eyes. Personally I think you could have afforded to up the ISO to give more SS & more DOF as you were shooting with Nikon here Morkel.

    Steve - you know how I like my contrast! :w It's an acquired taste which I don't think I will outgrow just yet :wh

    I was shooting with a D300s, and its high-ISO performance is quite similar to my 7D...but yes I could have bumped it a bit I suppose...

    I like them both Morkel but think I prefer this one. Agree with Steve re: contrast. Nice conversion.

    Ah, sorry thought all Nikons could cope with High ISO, based on this new info I think you were wise to do what you did.
