I really was following a few flying geese trying to get a good blur. At some point the geese disappeared and I didn't stop panning quick enough. I was surprised to find this when I downloaded the images. Just used a bit of curves and a small increase in saturation.

BTW, I like the old-type smilies better than the new ones. Glad they are back.

Nancy, I'm with you on the smiley faces! Beautiful blur and flowing lines. I might give it a slight CW rotation if it were mine and punch up the colors just sightly. I like the tree and the way it seems to get tangled into the BG. Love it!

Nancy, a very nice blur. Agree with denise on rotation and pumping up the color a touch. Very nicely done!

    Nice blur, Nancy.

Know the feeling of tracking geese on the go. Their sneaky sometimes! But you got a good secondary shot out of it.

You can thank me for the old smilies...I complained about the new ones and voila!

The image and blur amount is beautiful. I agree with Denise that I really like how the branches of the trees get tangled up into the BG - very nice. Compositionally, I kind of wish there was a little more room on the left side and a little less on the right but that's probably just me.

Here is the image rotated and a slight increase in saturation. And Julie, thanks so much for complaining about the smilies. Those google eyes of the new ones are kind of creepy.
