    Default FLASH EXTENDER

    Hi to everyone,
    Today i used for first time my flash Canon EX 580 for birdphotography
    But the maximum flash speed was 1/250

    May i have a higher speed with a flash...whow can i use the flash extender on my camera for better results???

    You need to enable high speed sync on the 580 in order to use it with faster shutter speeds. The problem is that flash output falls off significantly when you use faster shutter speeds. That's where a Better Beamer comes into play. It gives you about 2 stops of additional distance and helps compensate for high speed sync. Artie sells them on his website.
