In-camera Color Space does not matter if you photograph in RAW...you tell the sotfware in what mode you want it to convert the image:w...although it is best to have your web version in sRGB as most people won't see your "correct" colours via their web browsers.

Good hovering pose, very sharp. Too bad the far wing wasn't just a bit higher. I also find the image a bit strong on the contrast...easy fix. Did you need to lighten under the wing (I detect a bit of color noise there)?

Thanks for the feedback Daniel, I appreciate most of the camera capture settings refer to jpegs but I was under the apprehension that the colour space was relevant to RAW images - anyhow I have this repost - this is straight from the RAW file - no adjustments whatsoever other than resize and smart sharpen.. I probably adjusted highlights shadows in the original followed by a little selective colour on the blacks to make it pop, on reflection maybe I should have left well alone. As ever further feedback is most welcome.

Typical hovering posture from a Pied Jonathan, and glad you managed a catchlight in the eye. I always use a + EC when shooting up to the sky. Over time you get to know how much for certain type of species of birds. With Herons, I can go to +1 EC, and not blow a single pixel.

Yes I do too (+EC) in general but I found that in this light the whites were over exposing - even without additional exposure, in fact nearly all the shots taken against the sky had over exposed subjects but this was recoverable in the RAW converter.

Hi Jonathan, great hovering posture captured, I have tried but yet to have success with this KF. Good point made by Stuart and one I don't allways remember.
