These birds are known to fly around moving vehicles looking out for any insect thrown up, this was taken in Savute Marsh, Chobe National Park, Botswana 5th January 2011.

Ken well done, must be very difficult getting such a sharp image from a moving vehicle. Good incoming flight TFS.

Well done on a tough shot Ken. Did you happen to get one in the wing up position as well?

    Thanks for your comments,

The secret to getting some form of image is really just point and pray, there are often so many birds it is hard to pick one out and get the AF point somewhere on the body, high shutter speed is a great advantage offered by the higher ISO's. The silly thing is that as soon as the vehicle stops so do the birds.

    Todd,

I will look for a wings up but I certainly did not get anything in this capture sequence.
