    Amazing flight captured you could have used some selective sharpening over the head of the bird.

    SP:

    The pattern on the wings is striking.
    The background looks appropriate, but would prefer the horizon line not run quite so close to the head.

    Interesting about the DOF. Both wingtips seem sharper than the head, but you wouldn't expect to see much in the way of motion blur at this shutter speed, so I am not sure why the head isn't quite so sharp.

    In general, images are more engaging if the bird is coming towards us, or at least the head is around at least parallel to the image sensor.
