Taken a week or so ago. My wife likes the expression on this birds face, she says the bird looks like it's trying to be scary. Perhaps Hitchcock should've used this bird in his movie The Birds! :wh

Excellent detail on the whites and love those eyes. The beak look reasonably sharp but would maybe try some selective sharpening on the beak. I like this head shot, works very well TFS

Weel done on the exposure Mark. Nice and sharp on the eyes but a bit soft on the end of the bill. A little more dof would have been helpful or perhaps placing your focus midway between end of bill and eyes would have done it.
