    I like the captured drops flying, and the explanation which helps understand what he is doing. The DOF covered the bird fairly well, not easy to do in over the shoulder shots.

    Generally images are more engaging if the head is angled more towards us. Even in an over the shoulder pose, its best to have the head at least parallel to the image sensor if possible.

    I find the background somewhat distracting, even though it is out of focus.

    You could reduce the impact of the BG somewhat by cropping a little tighter from the right and above.

    Good advice given by Randy and I too like the water drop which really add to the image. Beside the crop Randy mentioned perhaps the image could go a bit brighter. Strange that I would say that as I lean a little towords darker images, this forum is starting to rub off on me :w
