Tack sharp on this shot Kerry. I like the angle and the blue water, but what really makes this for me is the ring in the water from a droplet that fell from the Dowitcher's bill. Nice capture (BTW, thanks for catching my typo)

Kerry, Beautiful low angle and very nice sharp details. The eye seems a tiny bit light to me. I might evict the one tiny white spot on the bird's reflection. Do you have a teeny bit more room on the left to give the concentric circles a little room and help the bird seem less centered. Really beautiful image and exposure I wish it were mine.

Nice pose and sharpness. I like Denises' suggestion on more space on lhs. Well done.

Great detail. I love that drop just hanging on its bill and the ring in the water. Beautiful capture!

Beautiful composition, Kerry. Love the low angle and details. Agree with Denise on a little bit of space on the left. TFS.

Super exposure and detail, I agree it looks a tad large in the frame, did the original include the whole reflection?

Thanks for comments all, much appreciated. I do have a small bit of space on the left, will do a new crop. Jonathan, only about half of the reflection was in the frame so I cropped up to eliminate most of it.

Awesome image Kerry. Great light, detail. The drop ripple and reflection all make for a excellent composition. Agree about eye and crop.

Extraordinary detail, lovely comp and lighting. The ripple puts it over the top, especially if you can add just a tiny bit of room to the left. Very nicely done.
