    Default Abstract Fractalius Snowdrift

Yikes! I may be pushing this one a little too far. I spent a short bit of time outside today in -20 C weather with bitterly cold wind shooting some snowdrift abstract today, until I was numb from brain to my toes. Here is one such drift with Frac glow 100 - no reduction in opacity to the fract layer. Not sure if I should have waited for my brain to thaw before attempting this one.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew, I love the colors and flow. From the thumbnail, I thought it was a tree branch. (You're a brave soul - I was out by a lake shooting this weekend at 40 degrees and I was whimpering:o)

Andrew, I think this is fantastic! I love the pure fract look and I think sub-zero temperatures make the brain sharper. (goofy emoticon deleted) The colors and organic look are great. My view is that once you've left the box, it doesn't matter how far out of it you go. Don't think you went too far at all.

I'm glad you didn't wait. I like this. Wonderful sense of flow. It does look like tree branches. I like the diagonals and the fractilus works really well here.

    Andrew,

Like Cheryl, I initially thought this was a tree branch. It's a fantastic abstract. Good choice in going with 100% opacity.

Superb abstract, Andrew and the result is well worth the photography in the bitter cold. Fract works well here and I like the flowing branching composition and the cold blue colors. There are several layers in this, and that also adds to the image. Outstanding!

That really is a spectacular transformation! I love it; the fract patterns are really outstanding and does make it look like tree branches.

Wow...most interesting to see the before and after! I agree with all the above that it is a great transformation. I would consider calling it the "Icy grip of winter".
