    Caroline:

The lighting is lovely here, soft, allowing nice detail in blacks and whites.
The perch is perfectly scaled and interesting with the fine needles and buds? without being overpowering.

Snow on bird and in the air adds to the mood.

    Very well captured.

    Cheers

A wonderful image Caroline. Great exposure and pleasing light. I can see this on a card.

I really liuke the details and the exposure looks perfect. The snow adds a lot to the comp for me, but what really takes this for me, is how the perch leans forward with the Chikadee leaning over looking down. It gives me the feeling he is about ready to lean right over.

Caroline, I remembered how much I loved your previous Chickadee images the minute I saw this. This one is perfect! The pose, perch, sharp details and snow make this special.

Hi Caroline , a lovely image, great exposure and detail and as mentioned a wonderful mood created by the falling snow. Like it a lot.
