Another capture of an Egret in flight, (normal eye ) private joke to some members:w. I always feel clouds add so much more to a sky BG.

    Stuart:

Clouds absolutely make most sky images. I have pretty much given up on straight blue sky images unless the action is remarkable.

Nice chunk of building material there. I got the eye joke!

    Cheers

Well captured, exposed and super under wing details , ditto the light clouds and the building materials.

Nothing like a partly cloudy day for shooting birds in flight. The nesting material adds interest, and you have preserved the whites despite the strong sunlight.

Thanks Craig. I didnt feel the light was that harsh. This was taken at 7.52am.

Thanks to Randy, Chris and James for your feedback too.

Hi Stuart , nice fly past with good work on the underwing and nice eye contact. Lovely capture with the clouds in the background.

Good exposure, sharpness, and nest materiel in the bill. Of course the clouds add interest too. Too bad the wing wasn't better lit, and I find the blue perhaps a bit too blue, but an all around strong image.
