    Got really clos to this bird hence the shallow DOF . I could have jumped up the Aperture value anyways this is what i got .

    Aperture F/4
    ISO 400
    Lens 600MM L IS USM

    Ram:

    Attractive bird, nice catchlight,sharp on eye and bill where it counts.
    Interesting the red color in the perch which goes well with his color.

    Wish he was a bit further our way on the perch so you could see his feet.

    The spiderwebs in the background are an interesting element in the image. Keeps you looking around to see more of them.

    Randy's critique is instructive. Despite the shallow DOF, your picture illustrates well why this beautiful bird is called the strawberry finch.
