    Default Winter Tree at Sunset

Another fractalius of a winter tree at sunset. Same tree that was posted in Landscapes with hoarfrost on it, only a couple of days earlier. Fract was applied on separate layer and opacity reduced 50% and a little tweaking of colors and contrast with Viveza.

    Look forward to comments.

Absolutely love everything about this, Andrew! The fract effect works really well on the tree, and the composition design is a classic. I might trim just a tiny bit off the top, but I really like this one as presented. Very well done!!

Andrew, I really liked the original and I really like this version. You added some nice colors and the fract work is perfectly done. I love it!

Fractalius effect and colors are beautiful. I agree with the small crop at the top. The slope of the hill adds interest to the composition.

Another job well done, Andrew! I love the colors you're getting in these and the frac work looks great! I agree that some should be cropped from the top and if this were mine, I'd try a slight CCW rotation to get the tree a little straighter. I think you could do that and still have enough of a slope on the hill to keep it looking interesting.

Nice fract work! I love the simplicity of the effect and the sunset colors.

    Nice image and application, Andrew.

Agree with the others, but I might also add a very thin "blue" border (about half the slope line weight) to it, to define the lower area better. But as they say ... :w

I like the graphic quality and love the colors! For me, the sloping ground does not work--I would have the horizon line straight, but clearly, I'm a minority. Thanks for sharing. I'm going over to landscapes to look at the original.
