I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it seemed the most likely so sorry if I've posted in the wrong forum.

What I am wanting to do is to create a signature using the below image. Basically I am wanting to make all of the white areas opaque and have only the black and grey areas visible. But I don't have any idea on how to do this.

If someone has any ideas on how to do this, or where I can get the information would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

Try the threshold function in photoshop. Or posterize with 2 values.

Mark, You should be able to simply open your image in Photoshop go to EDIT>DEFINE BRUSH PRESET then hit OK, then choose your brush tool and select your newly saved brush and use it as a stamp since it is set up on white.

I have a high sarcasm rate. Deal with it.

Thomas I couldn't get it to work adjusting the threshold but Denises tip worked a treat. Thanks

Select/Color Range/Sampled Colors/eye dropper tool to the background/ fuzziness to zero/ click OK, inverse selection, copy to new layer, delete base layer. regards~Bill
