Treated with Topaz Adjust and various filters from CS5. The original was way overexposed and I was amazed how much detail came back.

Very nice, Joel. Beautiful pose and effect of the filters. I like the slight color cast here... makes it different. I can also see a bit of edge halo, may be from sharpening. TFS.

Nice pose with full wing spread, eye contact, and diagonal acoss frame. Great recovery using topaz and filters. The underwing detail looks real good, don't think I could tell it was overexposed if you had not mentioned it.

Joel this is beautiful! I know what you mean about gaining back detail - Topaz Adjust is great at doing that. I love the tilt of the bird and the open wing position. There are 2-3 very small black dots on the end of his tail I might clean up. Everything else screams "Jonathon Livingston Seagull!"

Joel, I think this is called a save! Nice job w/ the filter. I do see the slightest bit of halo that Indranil is referring to but the pose and detail really make up for it.

Nice save Joel, love the position of the bird. Agree on removing the dark spots on the tail feathers. Nice work here!

Beautiful work, Joel! Isn't it great how sometimes a major mistake can actually be fixed in PS. :) Excellent pose and detail. I might lighten up the eye just a tad. Very well done!
