    Default Wings-Up Pintail

This is another frame from my Pintail sequence using the new 1.4x III. My original post was wings down, and there was a relatively harsh shadow line on the bird. I thought I'd post this frame, which doesn't have the same issue.

Great flight angle, with raised wings. I like the light, exposure and sharpness, and the BG colours puts this over the top. A fine image Doug.

Wow Doug , a beautiful flight image and the background colour sets off the bird nicely. Great detail in the wings and I like the feather detail and colour in the plumage. The background is so good Doug I was wondering what an alternative wide angle image with more space would look like ? Not that I don't think this image is outstanding.

Outstanding work Doug. Nice pose with wings up. Beautiful colors and techs spot on, don't think you could ask for a nicer bg.

That is the way to do it Doug. Perfect.

    Love the shape, background, catchlight.

Any noticeable difference in the 1.4 III compared to the 1.4 II ?

    Cheers

Not much that I can see at this point Austin, but I'm off to Costa Rica in a few days and hope to firm up my opinions. Check out this thread on the Gear forum.
