    Also at ISO 1250, but SS 1/1600 as light much improved
    Ev as metered, subject 22 m, brought up exp in CR5 a wee bit
    f 7.1 FL220
    Canon 40 d 100-400 + 1.4X

    I liked the water on the bill joining the reflections:o

    Sorry I missed this earlier.

    I agree about the water beneath the bill.

    The distorted by repeating pattern of reflections adds an interesting touch below. Because of that, I would probably crop down the free space above the bird by 40-50%.

    The bird itself looks a bit smoothed over. Did you run NR on the entire image?

    For this type of shot, you could have traded some shutter speed to get lower ISO, less noise to worry about in post.
