A Crimson Breated Bee-eater riding on the back of A kori Bustard, from where it picks up any insects thrown up by the stately march of the bustard.

Soope sharp for a hand held shot !! The striking colours of the bee eater lend a lot to this image !! A more uniform BG would have been something which would have enhanced the image even more , but then it is a very minor thing .

Great behavioural photograph. I never would have thought a Bee-eater would be the type to display this behaviour. I wonder what the Bustard thinks of the colourful jockey.

Very neat behaviour image!! Good comp, and I love the lush green habitat depicted - although I would be tempted to tone down the darker area above (just a bit to minimize its' impact). As posted you could also light the bee-eater's eye, although I'm sure it looks OK at a larger size. The Bustard seems to have a bit of a magenta cast on the plumage, or is this the colour it naturally has (I have never seen one before...)?

Wow , nice behavioural capture Ken. Nice light with good detail in both birds. Agree with Daniel re bee-eaters eye. Typical environment for Chobe.
