    I followed this Greenie all around the rocky shoreline of a large pond this morning, but got very few clear chances -- he was usually obscured by bullrushes, etc.

    These guys are hard to catch. You did very well, but (I would prefer it to be a bit darker.

    I also would like to see it a bit darker and perhaps just a bit sharper particularly on the head, eyes, and on the shoulders. I would agree, you did very well. These guys are tough to find and see! Nice catch!

    These guys are difficult to sneak up to here too, so good on ya to get relatively close! Good clear view of this guy. The light looks rather harsh, with a toning down of the brights and midtones likely helping a bit with that. I find the rocky habitat a bit too heavy on the image (sorry, no pun intended)...had the heron turned itself 180 degrees you would have had a clener comp with all the empty space at left. Obviously Mother Nature does not always cooperate with our wishes!
