Found Mr Fox this morning chasing voles around. What a great hunter, in 10 minutes he caught 3 of them.

You have got to love them teeth.:D:D

I like you got him looking right at you. I would do a selective lightening on the right side of the face to make the eye stand out a bit more. Do not lighten it to much though a it should still appear in shade.

Depending upon how you feel about such things, I would recommend cloning out the specular highlights in the BG.

    Robert,

I did lighten the right eye already, I don't know if I can get away with doing it more.
I kind of liked the specular highlights, but it is a bit distracting.
This guy has a very short upper jaw, compared to his lower jaw. He looks a little wacky :wh
    Thanks,

Michael - nice comp and habitat. Love the teeth. He looks a little cross-eyed.

Nice capture of this fox showing good habitat Michael. Interesting look with the teeth, I've seen the same look on a couple of captive coyotes. A little more +ec would have been heplful here. Agree with the specular highlights being a bit of a distraction and would be an easy removal.

Mike nice habitat capture. I always like fox winter images because their coats are so beautiful.

A very 'natural' setting for this chap Michael. Like the Wolf images posted, the snow really helps lift the main subject, creating a very 'pleasing' image. Agree on a hint of lightening, I'm 50/50 on the little sparkles.

    Still a good image.

based on his dental problems - do you think he's got English Bulldog in his ancestry? :w

nicely exposed, I agree with Robert on slightly lightening the side of the face

Like it very much as shown... To much lightnig of the shadows begin to look fake.. I rather like sidelight with furry critters, it gives you such nice texture....
