    Default Kruger Leopard

When I first looked at this image, I posted an image a little while ago, cropped in close to show just the head and body, as I felt a full body shot didnt work that well. After looking again, I decided there was nothing wrong with posting all of the leopard. Taken in the Kruger National Park back in Oct last year.

I like the paw hanging down. I might suggest selectively lightening up the cat some sohe is better differentiated from the tree as an alternative treatment

    Stuart,

Looks very comfy, I agree with Robert's suggestion of a little lightening.

Robert, Ken, thanks for your feedback guys. Here is my repost with a subtle selective lightening of the leopard.

Nice diagonal lines here Stuart. Re-post looks good, glad you posted the entire cat. Well see and executed.

Repost is a winner here Stuart, and agree with Todd on the strong diagonal comp line.

Stuart - Repost works well. I too like the paw hanging down and the strong diagonal line of the tail along the tree.

Very nice Stuart! And a very lucky find! First week of Jan I spent 7 days in the park trying to find one, specially one in a tree, but it was not meant to be this time round :)

As noted by others, a nice diagonal formed by the tree (and tail) and the look back helps the comp. Repost looks good.

Hi Stuart, works for me based on the above comments, repost looks good, but might try dropping the Red & Yellow channel in saturation say 20+ (?) variable, as it looses the warm and I think, perhaps gives a cleaner image.

    Just a thought? :)

Hi Stu one should use fill flash in the shade, helps bring out good detail on the leopard and sky. I agree with other comments, like the comp and eye contact TFS

nice one here Stu - like it more than you previous cropped version
repost looks a lot better, and I'd be interested to see the effect of Steve's suggestion.
