    Welcome, Kenn
That's a comfortable way to shoot.....especially in a snowstorm. The blowing snow, colors, and snow on the cardinal's head all add to the mood of this cold setting. The image is sharp and has nice detail....especially from being shot through glass. I don't know if this has been cropped but I might like a little more room around the bird but keep the same composition.

sadly this was VERY close outside my window.. I almost need an extender to focus on this point... so there is no extra in the original shot.. I spose I could create some... would that be a good idea?

    Hi Kenn,

Nice image of this cold looking Cardinal female. I like the color and pose and the falling snow creates a nice mood. I agree that it's a bit tight. I guess that means creating more distance or using less focal length next time. Maybe setting up a more natural looking perch a little farther away would be the way to go.
