    Hi;

    Took a smidge off the brightness from OP, which I prefer.

    hey Gus, beautiful as always - love the detail on his chest and that gorgeous gold eye and bg. That curved bill gives him such a funny expression.

    Very nice pose and composition Gus. The feathers look a little smooth again and there seems to be a few pp artifacts nest to the throat and under the beak.

    Nice work in general though and I prefer the repost, and perhaps even a touch more off would work.

    Hej Gus

    I agree that he sure looks like a guy with an evil eye :). Otherwise a very nice image and I really like the repost.
    Still agree with Ben that there seems to be some artifacts close to the throat and the beak. Possibly also something on the birds back.

    I too love this image. I like the second post better though. If the head were turned a degree more towards the camera, I think I would find it a bit more engaging.

    You read my mind with that repost, Gus! Looking at the greens in the BG and the color of the bird's feathers, I think I see a lean to the red side throughout the image. Try using a color balance adjustment to bring up the greens and lower the reds and see what you think...

    Beautiful pose and lovely diagonal on the composition!
