I think this little fellow has bitten off more than he can chew with this one, a real opportunist. I think this is your best from the series so far Todd, very nice. I wonder if you were to crop a fraction off the top, just below the grey stone in the centre removing some of the debris above, although I know your love of FF? :D

This is a decent meal for a youngster, great image, but I think the bank could stand a little cleaning up, if you are happy with that sort of thing.

I would also clean up the BG a bit, like the bears wet look and what a big catch, he must have been very hungry TFS

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone. Re: the bank clean up, no problems on my end with tidying things up a bit in ps. Here is an alternative crop that I printed for my Mother-in-Law, it also cuts down the ps work:). Did a little sat and color boost to water for this print as well. See what you think, gotta love options!
    Thanks again,
    Todd

Todd - he's a cutie and that salmon is huge. Both are strong comps and I agree about the clean-up but think the repost is a tad over saturated for my taste.

Two good comps although I think I prefer the vertical. The position of the salmon under the cub's feet and the tail in the mouth provides a nice "frame" for the cub. The water color looks a little too golden-green in the repost but otherwise looks good to me.

Todd I like both crops but I prefer the original (with a clean-up on the bank). I also like the fact that you see the cub's eyes adn it's raised right front paw.

How exciting to be in position for such a shot. The repost looks great to me. I hope you were able to catch one of those salmon also.
