When I joined this site I thought that I will post 25 threads to ETL forum before moving to major league (AIC) and try my wings with the big dogs. Well guess what, during the last six months I have so far posted exactly 24 threads...
So as this is my last post to this forum (unless they kick me back from there :D), now is your last chance to really tell me (forget the gentle part this time) what you think about this Canvasback (I have a few things in my mind which I wish I could change).
So cheers and thanks to everyone (you know who you are) who in the past has commented and criticized my threads. You have been a big help and made me a much better photographer than I ever believed I can be.

Great eye contact and pose. Good detail and color. Wonder about slight ccw rotation and little less room on the right and a little more on the left to put the bird less center.
Hi Mikko, I echo Sid's comment - you are more than ready. this is tack sharp, and just love the light, exposure and colours. If anything, I would move him back to the right a bit, and take at least half off the bottom. Looking forward to seeing you in avian.:w
Well, congrats on moving up the ladder. Your work is ready to take you to the big dogs. Hope to catch up with you some day... Beautiful duck beautiful image TFS Ann
Nice one Mikko. Nice low angle and great eye contact. Nice clean FG and BG with no distractions. Agree about the need for slight CCW rotation. Agree with the composition comments too.
Now for a personal note, and this is not necessarily ETL or BPN policy, just my opinion. I think ETL should be a forum all BPNers consider posting to, so don't abandon the forum Mikko! Posting excellent images here shows people what can be accomplished. I continue to encourage all BPNers to occasionally post here. The best photographers are life-long learners and as such are always "Eager to Learn", no matter what their skill level. So, even if you don't have a question, I'm sure all of us would welcome your posts here at ETL!
Good point John. I too try to keep that in mind in the future and alternate between the forums. And as some of my photos need rotation (without me catching it first!) I'll get my neck checked also as it seems that I keep my head tilted :D when I process these. Or maybe my screen is not level, or my chair, or the house...
