I used 3 DAP treatments on this - First Benson, then Watercolor and finally Chalk with an Overlay blended at 30%.

    Thanks for looking.:)

The base photo is excellent, nice capture and HA for this cormorant. I like the velvety feel and BG colors and texture, Cheryl. The torn edges work well also. Very good work.

Cheryl, I like the effect of the multiple treatments. The pose and head angle are great and the torn edge look is lovely. I feel like a "parrot" but Keith and Andrew really said what I wanted to.

That's a good look you got Cheryl. I like watercolor images a lot and this one is very nice. Good work with the multiple passes, you made a fine blend.

Lovely work, Cheryl. Excellent pose, and I love the edge treatment and combination of DAP effects. Very well done!

Beautiful work, Cheryl! This has a beautiful feel to it. It does also feel a little centered horizontally in the frame. Might have been nice to have a little less below the bird and a little bit more above him. Still...the watercolors and the beautiful blues really hit home. I could stare at this for a nice long while!
