Forum Software Upgrade

In the wee hours of 1/12/2011 we upgraded our forum software from VBulletin 4.0.8 to 4.1.1.

The upgrade was very important because of security improvements.
The upgrade also had several "bug fixes" that enabled us to fix some annoying issues.
Here is what we have been able to do so far:

• Fonts fixed in user profile area. Now black fonts on a white background.

• The text alignment in the user info area has also been fixed.

• Workshop link was added to menu.

• FAQ link was removed from menu(until more relevant to BPN)

• Home menu tab changed to Front Page.

• "Brownish" color theme added.

• Smilies Updated

• Monitor Calibration Strip is easier to see.

This was the smoothest upgrade ever!!

Always good to know things are progressing

I don't know if this did it, but I found that I can no longer view attachments in the BPN blogs. Any ideas?

It shouldn't have goofed that up. However I will check the permissions now.

Nice job.......it all seems to work well now. The alignment at the top on my laptop drove me nuts with everything running together before. Now it's all good!

Nice work James. The button for new posts that I believe was "what's new" is missing now? Was that by design? I miss it!
