    Wow, the bird really pops off the background in this great take off pose.

    Some of the whites in the rump and throat appear a little hot to me. I would also consider loosening the crop a little at the top if you can.

    I too love how the Heron is separated from the bg...almost 3D. Love the water disturbance in the bg as well....really shows the viewer what just happened.
